Hello!

My name is Tamara Gardner and I run Pilot Park Preschool in Lake Elmo MN.

While Pilot Park Preschool is new, officially opening up its doors for our summer program in June 2022 and our fall program in September 2022, I am not new to taking care of and teaching children. I have ran and operated Tamara's Child Care for a total of 8 years, 4 years in Oakdale, and the last 4 years at my current location in Lake Elmo.

I've loved my experience watching children, but my passion is in education. I have a Bachelor's Degree from St. Cloud State in Custom Studies with a focus on education and an Associate's Degree from Century College in Human Services. While in college I worked at a child care center and was a mentor at the Boys & Girls Club of Central Minnesota.

I am licensed through Washington County, and I am star rated through Parent Aware. I am currently working towards my CDA and my Nature-Based Teacher Certification.
